Heartland residents are just a quick drive from world-class Jiu-Jitsu training. Current Jiu Jitsu offers structured BJJ programs for adults, kids, and women near the Mavis and Britannia corridor.
The Heartland area is centred around the Heartland Town Centre at Mavis Road and Britannia Road West, one of Mississauga's busiest retail and residential hubs. Surrounding the shopping district are newer condo developments and townhouse communities that attract young professionals, couples, and growing families. With its central location and easy highway access, Heartland residents have plenty of options for fitness and recreation.
Current Jiu Jitsu is located about 6 km west of Heartland at 6810 Kitimat Road in the Meadowvale Business Park. Absolutely. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is one of the most physically demanding martial arts, engaging your entire body through grappling, movement drills, and live rolling. A single class can burn hundreds of calories while building functional strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance. Many of our students started BJJ as an alternative to traditional gym workouts.
For your first class, wear comfortable athletic clothing such as a t-shirt and shorts or athletic pants. If you are trying a Gi class, we can provide a loaner gi for your trial. No special equipment is needed to get started. Just bring water and a willingness to learn.
